I absolutely loved my stay in the heart of Madrid. The location couldn't be better, right on Gran Via, surrounded by all the attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The view from my window was not impressive, but it didn't matter with so much to explore outside. The internet was reliable and fast, perfect for staying connected. The value for money was just right, making it a great choice for budget travelers.

The walls were a bit thin, and I could sometimes hear other guests talking loudly.

The Hostal was spotlessly clean. The room was cleaned everyday, I had clean towels and the bed was made up every day.

The staff were extremely gracious. The pillows on the beds are long like a body pillow. I sleep on my side so usually use a body pillow. When the cleaning staff saw after the first night that I had used the pillows from both beds, from then on, they always left the pillow from the other bed on the bed I slept on. It was a little thing, but showed they cared. Also, I arrived early and my single room was still occupied. They had had a cancellation so gave me a double room for the same price for the week so that I could get in and get on with my stay.

Hot water was sporadic but it was okay.

I loved being there, the place is quiet little and excellent.

Everything was excellant, beautiful location to most Galleries, the stuff where amazingly nice. The property was in the middle of the city. And it was around 10-15 minutes walk from Rosi la Loca Taberna, ate there couple of times.

The people in charge of the hostel are really friendly and allways looking forward to help you if you need anything, plus the location is excellent you have a underground station near and is in Gran Via. Really easy to move around from the hostel.

The location was perf, right in the heart of the city. We hit up all the cool spots, like the hipster theatres and cinemas on every street. It made us feel like we were part of the city's cool vibe, you know? And the staff was chill, always hooking us up with info on the best parties and places to hang. Madrid really knows how to show you a good time!

The only thing I wish was that the hostel had a sick rooftop bar or something. Like, imagine partying with all your new friends, sippin' cocktails and taking in the dope view of the city.

I had an amazing experience at Hostal Galaico in the heart of the city. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff, especially the lady at the desk, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Even though there was a language barrier, she made every effort to understand me and provide me with the information I needed. I also loved the fact that our room had a view of calle gran vía. The location was perfect, with everything within a 20-minute walk, including shops, bars, restaurants. I will definitely be returning to Madrid, and without a doubt, I will choose to stay at Hostal Galaico again. The customer service was exceptional.

    Not obvious to find.

The location was amazing for walking around an iconic street. The area was safe and very close to most galleries, lots of other attractions, and the city center and transportation.

I really appreciated the warm and cozy atmosphere of the hostal, especially the charming decorations that made me feel right at home. The common areas were comfortable and inviting, perfect for relaxing and meeting other guests. As a senior woman, I found the hostal to be easily accessible, with facilities and amenities designed with my comfort in mind.

The only improvement I would suggest is for the children working there to be a bit more knowledgeable about the local attractions and activities that are suitable for seniors. It would have been helpful to receive recommendations specifically tailored to our age group, as we wanted to make the most of our vacation in Madrid.

I absolutely loved the location of this hotel! It was right in the heart of Madrid, making it very convenient to explore the city's attractions. The hotel had a beautiful decoration, with elegant and cozy common areas. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be quite accessible, with comfortable elevators and well-lit hallways.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the staff to be a bit more knowledgeable in English. While they were incredibly friendly and kind, it was a bit challenging to communicate at times.

I chose this hotel for attending a congregation led by Lucía Dávila and Patricia Camba from Mirai. The location was perfect, in the heart of Madrid, close to the metro. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a great value for money.

The only thing I missed for my work was a business center or a dedicated workspace within the hotel.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a fantastic location, just steps away from all the major attractions. The private room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a bathtub, which is quite rare in Europe. The staff was friendly and always willing to help, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable. The reliable and fast internet was a bonus, and I felt safe staying on the fifth floor of a secure building. Despite some minor drawbacks, like thin walls and no nice view from the window, I had a great experience overall. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its convenience, cleanliness, and value for money.

Friendly staff, secure building, within easy walking distance to museums and restaurants.

The city noise level during the night was disturbing but excusable because of the city location. We finally closed the window and could get some sleep. The jalousy on our window didn't work; that would have cut down the noise a little bit.
